Monahan: America is in a desperate situation

Why has our history become a violent disadvantage? Why are our initial heroes suddenly enemies? These heroes made our America great. They are now depicted as ill-advised masters of destruction. Yes, we had problems in our beloved country, but what country has not experienced this issue?

Why are we told that the Alamo is not an admirable, courageous event, but instead we base it on the Mexican Gen. Antonio López de Santa Anna? They were Texans who fought for the future of Texas. Santa Anna was finally destroyed by the Mexican citizenry, who realized that he committed enormous thievery from them to ensure his personal rich future. He failed in his complete attempts as the true leader of a Mexican country or any other land. He lived his final poverty-stricken life as a pauper, with the well-deserved disrespect of Mexico.

America has fought bravely to protect our beloved country. Our brave warriors have fought to the end of their lives to ensure our greatness. Unfortunately, now, we are consumed by protesters, who have their own animosity and hatred for the cause they condemn as evil. The pro-Palestinian protesters are allowed to exhibit their hatred for everything Jewish. They disregard the Hamas-driven evil presented consistently against innocent lives. They are now currently viewed as patriots for Palestine. No, they are disastrous Israeli-enemy exhibitors and American Jewish citizens in danger. The right must be verified. Our beloved country is in great danger. Under this administration, we will never have this occur.

Our constantly weak political leaders, led by President Joseph R. Biden and his administration, are too fearful to speak the truth that America needs to be stronger and to express and show our ability to retrieve America’s successful future. With Joe Biden, we have no hope of the return to our greatness. Biden does not have the ability to access this greatness. We need the change in our presidency to return America to our successful future. New leadership in 2024 is demanded!
